How much does it cost to call a fax2mail number The fax numbers, allocated by fax2mail to its clients, are regular fax numbers, with regular charges, allocated by ANRC to fixed dialling in the National Numerotation Plan.
Those who send a fax to a fax2mail number, will pay as much as their telephony operator charge for a call to numbers with this prefix.
When I try to open the tif image, received as an attachment from the fax2mail service, this loads a software application that does not support the tif format (or multipage tif format)...
There is a table in the Windows operating system that allocates each file format (in this case .tif) to a certain application. This allocation can be changed to open the file with the desired application (for example Imaging).
How can I open the tif format attachment ?
With an imaging software that supports the tif format (for example IrfanView or Imaging).
What software supports the multipage tif format ?
Irfanview (PC) Freeware http://www.irfanview.com

Attention !: Not all imaging software support the multipage tif. Some will only display the first page. We advise you to check if the software you intend to use supports multipage tifs. For Windows we advise you to use Imaging, which comes installed with Windows.

The telephone numbers allocated by fax2mail cover all the counties in Romania. You can choose the county prefix you'd like when you register your account for fax2mail.
Can I receive faxes sent from any country on my fax2mail number ?
The telephone numbers from fax2mail are numbers allocated by ANRC for fixed telephony, and have the same functionality as any other fixed phone number. The numbers allocated by ANRC from the National Numerotation Plan are either of the form 02xy or 03xy (where xy is the county prefix).
How can I recognize an email (that contains the fax as a tif image) sent by fax2mail to the mail address I assigned for receiving faxes ?
The email message sent by the fax2mail platform can be recognised by the following elements:
Sender: The fax number of the sender
To: your mail address
Subject: [DNIS = your fax number][ANI = sender's fax number]
Attachment: NCI_FAX_data.tiff
